    Henrik Haven, based in Copenhagen, Denmark is a very appreciated photographer specialized in documenting contemporary and public art both from gallery exhibitions, large scale public art projects and studio visits. His photos are published in the leading magazines, blogs and social networking sites all over the world. Now Henrik sets down in Borås during No Limit Street Art.

    No Limit Street Art har idag tilldelats Borås Stadsbyggnadspris i kategorin ”mark, landskap och stadsmiljö” under en prisutdelningsceremoni i Orangeriet i centrala Borås. Priset delas ut vart tredje år och lyfter goda exempel inom arkitektur och stadsbyggnad i Borås.

    Born in Los Angeles in 1978, Tristan began pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from walls to billboards in the urban landscape wherever he lived, including London, Detroit and Brooklyn. After growing up on comic books, graffiti and skateboard culture, Tristan designed his first toy for Fisher Price at 18 years old and began working as an artist full-time.

    Logan Hicks is a New York-based artist known for his photorealistic stenciled paintings. Studying at the Maryland Institute of Contemporary Art in the early 1990s, Hicks cut his teeth as a successful screen printer, before being inspired to branch into stencils.

  • 10 konstvandringar varje helg i kulturstaden Borås

    Varje helg under perioden 18 april till 7 juni erbjuder kulturstaden Borås tio konstvandringar med alltifrån street art, skulpturer, arkitektur, textil och måleri till pop- och fotokonst. Det är Abecita Konstmuseum, Borås Konstmuseum, No Limit Street Art, Textilmuseet och Textile Fashion Center som nu tar ett samlat grepp under rubriken ”Staden som galleri”.

  • Chilean muralist Inti to No Limit Street Art Borås

    Muralist devoted to street art, specifically to graffiti, since age 15. In parallel he studied at the Fine Arts School of Viña del Mar. Despite criticism from detractors of artistic expression in public spaces, his works won a space on the streets and buildings of Valparaiso, first, and then in cities all over the world.

  • ​Canadian Laurence Vallières adds a new dimension to No Limit Street Art Borås

    Born in Québec city in 1986 this young artist was discovered by the creation of large-scale sculptures in cardboard. She studied at Concordia University in visual arts before doing an exchange program in Los Angeles to further her knowledge in ceramics. It’s only after graduation and doing an artist residency in Russia that she appropriated the street art influence in her work.
